Having dogs who are heavy chewers leaves me searching for a snack they can't just tear apart and devour in five minutes. Add in the fact I have a very picky chihuahua, who refuses raw hides not flavored with peanut butter, it can be difficult to find the perfect chew. We try different chews all the time. Some last longer than others, some the chihuahua turns her nose up at, and some do pretty well, but cost an arm and a leg. Bully Sticks by Best for my Pets are the best of both worlds; long lasting and a good deal.

Best for my Pets Bully Sticks are more than just a chew, they also maintain oral health and hygiene. All natural, 100% beef, chemical free, low in fat and high in protein, Bully Sticks are fantastic for any dog. They are odor free, so no stinky breath or ambient odors. The Bully Sticks seemed hard, and I was slightly concerned that my wee little chihuahua wouldn't be able to chew on it well enough. The sticks come in random sizes, so I gave her the thinnest I could find. I gave each dog their own Bully Stick and they went their separate ways. They didn't stir for almost two hours! They just quietly chewed, occasionally getting up to snag a drink.

I was concerned that they'd been chewing too long and went to take them away, save the rest for

another day. Ha! That wasn't happening! Miley (chihuahua) yipped at me, something completely out of the normal for her. So I let them keep their Bully Sticks. After a bit, she went and buried hers in the blankets in her kennel and went about her day. Brooks (pug) gnawed to his hearts content, taking breaks to cuddle and wander, as he often does. After an entire day, both dogs still had half a stick left and only chewed when they felt like it. The Bully Sticks didn't leave weird stains on the carpet, flake apart leaving rough slivers on the floor nor did they feel disgustingly gooshy when you accidentally stepped on one left in the walkway. When I went to brush their teeth (which I do at least every other day), their breath didn't smell and I didn't smell anything when they were chewing. The sticks didn't even smell like anything (to me) in the bag. Now another concern was my pugs allergies (he has reactions to some foods/treats, but we don't know the exact cause). He didn't have a single reaction to the Bully Sticks. These chews have easily and quickly become not just my dogs favorites, but mine as well. I feel good giving the sticks to them knowing that they are all natural and chemical free. It gave them something to do and kept them relaxed and happy. Happy pups, happy home.
