Skin. Skin. SKIN! I'm constantly changing skin products; almost like underwear anymore. More recently I've been playing friends with Body Merry's Retinol Serum and Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Serums really seem to be the "in" thing recently. Everything comes as a serum now! Now let's just dive right on in. Let's begin with the Retinol Serum. My favorite of the two. Of course, it is an all natural, organic product with plant derived Hyaluronic Acid, which alleviates concern for dryness or irritation. There's also green tea extract to provide a healthy antioxidant. I have a lot of discolored spots on my face from years of sun exposure and my very own mental issue, dermatillomania or better known as excessive skin picking. For most of the spots, it can take a lot of concealer to cover them, if at all. The retinol serum claims to help with wrinkles and spots. But would it help my spots? I started using the retinol serum every other night after showering. The serum is a non-sticky liquid and rubs in well. A couple drops is sufficient enough to cover the whole face and not leave a residue. I only used about 3-4 drops. I'd follow up with a nighttime moisturizer and I'm good to go! After a week of use, I noticed some of the spots had started to fade. In particular, one severe spot on my left cheek which has had a tendency to darken overtime. It was lightened significantly. Saying I was impressed would be putting it lightly. I continued to use the retinol serum, but increased the use to every night. Almost immediately, the severe spot had lightened greatly. Now after 3 weeks, the spot is still there, but very, very light. I am very amazed and impressed with this retinol serum. It's the first I've ever used and it is definitely not going to be my last.

Now for the Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I have used hyaluronic acid serums before and find them to be pretty amazing. Body Merry's Hyaluronic Acid Serum is no different. To follow along with Body Merry's product type, this serum is plant based and organic. I had yet to replace my previous serum, so this showed up just in time! It's your typical serum; light and non-sticky. I used the typical 5-6 drops, then immediately realized that with this serum, that was far too much and backed it down to 3-4. I used it daily, morning and night as I always had. My skin remained replenished and moisturized. It moisturized like the previous serum and was simple to use. Unfortunately, other than the difference in amounts, I didn't notice too much of a difference between Body Merry's Hyaluronic Acid Serum and other serums I'd used. Don't get me wrong, I love it and it's perfect for my dry, sensitive skin, there just wasn't a huge difference that made me think "oh wow!". I would highly recommend both products. The retinol serum is perfect and I can't even put how impressed I was into words. The hyaluronic acid serum is terrific for keeping your skin moisturized and looking young.
