Just like pre-Princess Mia (Anne Hathaway) in the Princess Diaries, I have some severe Bushman eyebrows. Although, unlike the movie, I've chosen to embrace my crazy brows instead of plucking, waxing or threading them away. In doing so, it has caused me to take leaps and bounds to keep them even moderately under control. Brushes, combs, gels, waxes...Some are too stiff or too soft or too greasy. I feel like the Goldilocks of eyebrow products. When I come across a new brow product or am offered the opportunity to try one, you bet your boots I'll jump on that train! I was recently given the opportunity to try Crave Naturals Brow & Lash Kit.

This lovely kit comes in an adorable tube package that has an almost vintage flair. Although it seems a bit too much for two simple tools, you can definitely use it to store other makeup tools as well! It comes with: a dual-ended tool with a spoolie on one end and an angled brow brush on the other, and a second tool with a brow brush and eyelash comb. The spoolie is wonderful. I like to use spoolies as a brow brush of sorts. It has the perfect combination of soft/stiff so it doesn't feel like you are using a Brillo pad. Paired with my Revlon Brow Fantasy gel (which comes with a brush I do not like), it makes shaping your brows easy and helps to evenly spread the gel. It spreads out those brow 'clumps' that can be a frequent nuisance when using gel. I have not yet tried it with a brow shaper wax as I have been using gels more as of recent and do not have any on hand. The spoolie was easy to wash, getting rid of the excess gel and washing did not seem to damage the bristles. On the opposite end of the spoolie is a angled brow brush. Although I usually do not need to use these because of the pencil that comes with my Revlon Brow Fantasy, I used it anyway to blend the Brow Fantasy and wow! It made my brows look more natural and well shaped. I decided to also try using this brush with just a typical eyeshadow to color my brows. It turned out fantastic! The angle of the brush allows for precision when outlining, giving the illusion of a perfect brow shape (even with my Bushman's). The brow brush was a little something to get used to as it was a bit different the the one I have been currently utilizing. It was a bit more stiff, but still soft. I have several brow hairs that refuse to be tamed at all, however the bristles on this particular brush seemed to allow for further control. It was great for a quick touch up when my brows developed a mind of their own. The eyelash comb. OH THE EYELASH COMB! I love this thing! I have naturally long lashes, which means that most mascaras clump or leave little balls on the ends and it looks absolutely horrendous. The eyelash comb is perfectly spaced to allow for declumping your eyelashes and getting all those annoying balls off the ends leaving your lashes looking voluminous and long. All the brushes were super easy to clean and there was no visible damage! Overall, the product is wonderful. The packaging is adorable and has a very vintage appeal. The tools are terrific, although the lash brush was different than what I am used to.
