As a scaly skinned girl, I am always looking for good moisturizers. I've tried a lot of them; gels, creams, serums... Any more I am up for trying anything, if it says moisturizing, I'll try it. To have the opportunity to try my new favorite company's moisturizer was terrific. I've never received a product from them that I didn't like, so this moisturizer had to be good. Instanatural's Retinol Moisturizer Cream contains 2.5% retinol (for maximum strength), vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, shea butter and green tea to fight wrinkles, fine lines, discoloration and moisturize your skin.

It comes in a large bottle with a generous pump; much nicer than the squeeze tubes, that give too much, or the jars, that get product stuck under your fingernails. The pump works simply, producing the perfect amount of moisturizer needed without overdoing it. The cream itself has a rather medicinal scent at first, but it's light enough that it isn't bothersome. It's very silky, non-greasy and not heavy at all. I use about a dime size amount, which is plenty to get my face and neck. It goes on smooth, no streaking or excessive rubbing to get the cream to soak in. I used the moisturizer routinely for a couple of days. Unfortunately, I could see my skin wasn't being as moisturized as it had been with my previous cream. I started developing dry patches again, ones that I hadn't seen for months. Although it seemed to help with discoloration from previous dry patches, it didn't seem to be moisturizing my skin at all. Now, I have severely dry skin. Without moisturizing, my face becomes a giant scaly mess; sore, flaky and painful. I've found few moisturizers that can handle the job and I am devastated that my favorite brand's moisturizer just couldn't handle it. I find the product to be wonderful itself, but perhaps just not for my particular level of dry. Instanatural's Retinol Moisturizer may be perfect for someone with a very mild dry skin issue. Considering this is the first product I cannot say I love, I won't hold it against Instanatural. All their other products have worked wonders for me, just not this one. If you have mild dry skin or combination skin, I'd say definitely check it out. You can buy it by clicking here.
