As a pet owner, I am constantly looking for ways to get rid of pet smells. With two cats and two dogs in my home, there are smells a plenty. My pug is a huge culprit of this. Brooks has allergies, which when flaring, can cause him to have a pretty bad aroma (comparable to old Cheetos, uck). I received the candle on Saturday (1/17/15) and have burned it almost every day, for about 2-3 hours per day. After the second day of burning, I came home after a day of shopping and errands and noticed the pug musk had dissipated to a mere hint, the candle was all I could smell. (Just for reassurance, I did not leave the candle burning whilst gone, I had put it out before leaving). It was so refreshing coming home to the lovely aroma of lavender and green tea instead of Eau de Pug. I did go one day without burning the candle and the pug scent returned, but not nearly as badly as before, barely recognizable. You can even smell the candle when it's not burning! Just leave the cap off, and the room it's in will have a pleasant, but very light scent. The Lavender Green Tea candle is relaxing and soothing. It leaves me with memories of my grandparents' house and an inner feeling of warmth and happiness. It's not an overpowering smell, but leaves a pleasant, inviting aroma in your home. Overall, I am extremely happy and impressed. It neutralizes the pet odors, making them barely noticeable to nonexistent, leaving your home smelling fantastic. Finally, a scent that can overcome my pets smell and let guests appreciate my pets (and my home) instead of avoiding them.
