I'm not one to shy away from a subscription box simply because it's unique and sensual, which is why when I saw The Pleasure Pantry, I knew I had to snag one up to try out.

The Pleasure Pantry is an adult subscription box created to bring a little excitement into your mailbox and bedroom. It comes uniquely tailored to your relationship; they have four box options: Boy/Girl, Boy/Boy, Girl/Girl and Bridal.

Each of the couples packs are $29.00(incl. S&H) per month and the Bridal box is $33.00(incl. S&H) per month. There are also subscription selections of per month, a three month subscription (also the gift subscription) and a Deluxe subscription, which is a monthly subscription of a bigger box with more products. The Deluxe subscription is $75.00(incl. S&H).

The box comes discreetly, there is nothing on the box that would even hint to what is in side. Mine was just a plain brown box with the address label. However when you open it up, you are greeted by a simple sticker that says "The Pleasure Pantry". There is not a product card with this box, so if you are interested in finding out the cost of each item, you do have to look it up yourself.

At first glance, the box looked pretty nice. Nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary, and certainly nothing I would give a try. So here we go on to the products!

Delicious Encounter & SPUNK Lubricant Sample Pouches

MSRP: Samples

The first two items I pulled from the box were sample pouches of lubricants.

Delicious Encounters is a Peach flavored lubricant that is water-based and latex friendly.

SPUNK didn't have much of a description, although I would assume by the name it is not an edible lubricant.

I was truly not impressed. Of course lubricants are pretty basic, but a card with further information or where to find more on the lubricants would have been helpful.

Pastease - Red Glitter Kiss Lip

MSRP: $9.99

Pasties are essentially stickable nipple covers. I had to search for these to get the price and further information, but they state they conform to skin, do not harden and use a latex-free, medical grade, waterproof adhesive.

Although pasties might be someone's cup of tea, I just find them to be somewhat tacky. I really couldn't imagine paying $9.99 for nipple covers shaped like lips and coated in glitter.

Not impressed.

A Touch of Honey Dust .25oz

MSRP $3.59

An edible powder that can be dusted on with a feather. Again I had to hunt for instructions and information on this one. The powder itself smells sweet and tastes like crushed red Sweetarts. This is the one product in the box that was truly worth its weight.

It's something I would definitely use (and perhaps just munch on when I'm needing a sweet pick-me-up).

Skinny Dip Suntouched Candle

MSRP: $10+

I found this candle every where! Ranging from $10 up.

The candle smells fantastic, fruity and perfumey. At first, I was like "okay that's great, but I have tons of candles" then I read the fine print.

This candle also doubles as a massage oil and moisturizer. Just light it up and let the 'wax' melt, then either pour or spoon onto your skin.

That is pretty awesome if I say so myself.

Le'Reve 3-Speed Bullet

MSRP $10.00

This was supposed to be the boxes golden ticket, the 'big' item. I was impressed...at first. This little buddy could pack a real punch using simple watch batteries. With three speeds of OOohhh, I could see why this might be a fun item.

However, the bullet worked while recording my unboxing, then suddenly never again. Unless I removed and replaced the batteries before turning it on every. single. time.

I feel like this ticket item fell short on the list. Typically a good toy will cost you at least $20+, so I don't know why I am suprised. This disappointed me a lot.

I wanted to like The Pleasure Pantry, I really did. The worth of the box is good for the amount you pay to get it, but I feel like the products you receive are just overpriced crap. The only two items I found worth their while was the Honey Dust and Skinny Dip Candle. Everything else was cheap thrills.

It'd be a decent box for someone who is literally looking for a couple cheap thrills, or a getting a little whily in the bedroom for one night. But if you are looking to really spice up your love life, I'd look elsewhere.

I plan on testing out some other adult subscription boxes, because I feel there are better ones out there for less than, or equal to, the price of The Pleasure Pantry.
